Rachel and Rory Litherlan...: Relaxing stayWe stayed in the Ash Suite last weekend - a lovely homely B&B, on a working farm with an excellent home cooked breakfast! Margaret was really welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed a meal at the Royal Oak on the Saturday night (portions were huge) I recommend booking in advance. This is the second time we have visited Knotlow Farm & love it so much that we hope to return again soon. A better B & B you could not find. Many thanks again, Jeff, Angela, Scammell wagon & bump! Thursday, 26 August 2010 Guest: Mr Michael BracegirdleMany thanks for a wonderful stay. The pitch was well protected from the wind, had great views, was very comfortable and could not be faulted. The shower was spacious, clean, served with hot and high-pressure water. I took the opportunity to eat a full breakfast in the farmhouse B&B which was excellent - fresh fruit (raspberries, pineapple, strawberries, apple, kiwi fruit, ...), cereals, full English plate with fresh ingredients - WONDERFUL! I will certainly be returning. Monday, 05 July 2010 Guest: mrs freethWe turned up at sight saturday the 19th june!! seemed nicely busy!! Monday, 21 June 2010 Barbara and Kevin, Sheffi...: A real find! What a wonderful place Knotlow Farm is! From our welcome with tea and cake onwards, we had a great few days' break here. Margaret is so friendly and welcoming and nothing seems to be too much trouble. The room was immaculate; nothing had been forgotten (even fresh milk in the fridge!) the breakfast was so good and substantial that, even after a strenuous walk, we didn't feel hungry again until the evening. Another plus is that you can do some lovely walks from the door - no need to take the car out. We'd recommend Knotlow Farm unreservedly Monday, 02 November 2009 Mr and Mrs Taylor: FeedbackWe had a lovely stay at Knotlow Farm. If you want a relaxing break, KF is the place to be. We were warmly welcomed by Margaret with a cup of tea and a piece of cake. We stayed two nights in Flagg and it was just what we both needed. The bedrooms were beautiful, the breakfast was vast and delicious and the setting where KF is was so relaxing. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you for your hospitality. Louise & Gavin Taylor”
Kind Regards, Louise Sunday, 18 October 2009 Alan Atkinson: Thank youThe very best B&B I have stayed in, and a standard that would rival many hotels. Monday, 05 October 2009 Michelle and Keith: Sanctury from Manchester! We arrived late, had been stuck in traffic for several hours. As soon as we arrived at the farm, Margaret brought us sandwiches, cake and coffee...it was very much needed and appreciated! The room was spacious and immaculate as well as very comfortable. The en-suite was ideal and the power shower was heavenly. There were lots of little additional touches that turns a good b&b into an excellent b&b: there was fresh milk in the fridge as well as bottles of water! Breakfast: there were lots of options on the menu! The food was gorgeous and really set you up for the day. There were walking books and maps to browse. For only having been a B&B for 1 year, Margaret and Knotlow would put others to shame. Nothing is too much trouble. I only have one negative thing to say about the weekend...it went by too quickly! I thoroughly recommend a stay here: fantastic host: fantasic food: fantasit price and life long memories! ![]() Monday, 28 September 2009 Guest: Ed & Caz FordA stunning location with the best welcome we have ever encountered at a B&B, Margaret was more like a friend than a host. The standard that Margaret has set is incredible, the rooms are stunning, the breakfasts were incredible and our stay was very enjoyable. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the area and hope to stay here again in the future. Many Thanks Ed & Caz
